Criss, any post on sports and you seem to be there! Your experience seems to be the typical one on this. Sure, it gets some people off the couch to search Google - but only disappointment lies after the click.

I'm with you, Bob. I saw a number of the G commercials during the New Year's Day College Football games and thought the same thing... WTF?! First thing I checked was urbandictionary.com to see if "G" had changed slang from when Will Smith used it as the "Fresh Prince". One of the definitions of the most popular definition of "G" is "title of endearment". So when I see great atheletes like Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, etc., I thought this was some kind of anonymous tribute to greatness. What I didn't do is put two and two together and realize what "45" and Eldrick have in common is big Nike and Gatorade contracts. Another Google searched confirmed this was selling sports drink.

If I have to do that much work to figure out what you're selling me, it's probably not a good thing.

I was waiting for you to post on this :)
